This service is called HEMC Broadband Mail Manager. HEMC Broadband Mail Manager allows you to block unwanted and offensive Email [SPAM] from your Email, as well as the ability to completely block any future Emails from known offenders! This service is being provided FREE OF CHARGE to all existing HEMC Broadband Internet Email subscribers. We have been battling the SPAM problem for years. We have been handicapped because we wanted a powerful User-Defined method of SPAM filtering. We want to empower you, the end user. We want you, rather than HEMC Broadband to decide what is offensive and what is acceptable.
The way this works is when an offending Email is detected it is redirected to the HEMC Broadband Mail Manager for your review. This center will let you view Email that has been Filtered and detained according to the rules you define. This Email can be accessed by going to http://mail.hemcbroadband.net/webmail. HEMC Broadband Mail Manager is a Web based control center and is password protected. Only you can control this service. Using your HEMC Broadband Username and your private password you can visit the HEMC Broadband Mail Manager and simply point, click and update your SPAM sensitivity level at any time.
We are also happy to announce our HEMC Bradband Email Virus Protection service. HEMC Bradband Email Virus Protection service is a powerful real time tool rapidly monitoring and filtering Viruses from your in-coming email. It looks for known viruses and stops them. Our Email servers will be updated several times daily with known Virus ID's and will automatically block Viruses and other harmful attachments from entering your computer through your email.
This service is provided FREE OF CHARGE to all HEMC Broadband dial-up and DSL customers.
While this service is very powerful, it will perform best when used in conjunction with a local Virus protection program because HEMC Broadband Email Virus Protection only blocks Viruses that transfer through Email.
